My art and illustration collection has a range of works that are mostly digital. I specialise in creating psychedelic, surreal or spiritual art, filled with bold colours and intricate patterns. I am inspired by my Indian roots, having grown up around intricate Indian art and architecture. This is combined with a constant drive to explore different art styles and incorporate them into my art to give them a more contemporary and unique look. I also aspire to explore other mediums like watercolour, mixed media, clay sculpting, wood burning and more.

THE EYE OF OSIRIS
A mythology inspired character. My story: The Osiris plant, named after the God of the deceased, is motivated by luring people in and killing them to join the dead. It has an eye that looks for its prey, that can penetrate through the thickest bushes to spot them. Its heart of resurrection draws in people in, but its jaws of death snap their head off with silent, stealthy movements. It also has wings that give it speed and flexibility.

TRANSCEND
This illustration symbolises transformation. A white bird flies lifting the spirit to a better place, leaving the monsters below.

A piece inspired by spirituality and the third eye, conveying enlightenment through the sun-like depiction of the eyes.

This symbolises a burst of emotions from the heart. Many of our feelings are too abstract to describe, and that beautiful chaos of our heart is depicted here.

An abstract ceremonial object that symbolises wealth, royalty and extravagance.

A psychedelic piece that can be interpreted in a number of ways, but overall conveys tranquility, peace and connectedness.

An illustration of monsters underground. A metaphor for the parts of us we keep hidden underneath, out of sight.

PATTERNS

The two patterns above are influenced by an Indian traditional art form called rangoli, characterised by its radial symmetry.

MARK MAKING BUGS
I made marks on paper using different materials like paint brushes, a toothbrush, a paper towel and leaves. I then scanned them and pieced them together to create the resulting bugs.
